The Negativity War!!
What's going on in your mind right now? Who has the power to control your thoughts or your thinkings? Obviously its 'you'. Then why do we allow external factors to amend our mindset or our mental conditions? Those who are reading this post, I have a question for you! What type of person you are? The one who doesn't give any attention to what people say about you or the one who gets affected by each and every statement that people states about you? If you are the one who don't allow people to spoil your mindset then I salute you.
Sometimes what happens is that we think that we are all mentally strong and none can change my mood but.. when practically things go wrong you automatically get affected by it. It not only changes your thoughts but also makes you feel weak inside.
The best example for this would be lockdown effects on students. When it comes to me,the days were like #GoWithTheFlow. Specially during our boards it was such a mess. But still I feel I'm the lucky one because as compared to some other students I didn't faced any serious issues realated to the mental health such as depression, stress, anxiety etc maybe I have the power to deal with negativity around me 😝.
But on a very serious note what students had gone through or are going through is very terrible. All of sudden we got a long break in our routines and as the months passed students started avoiding studies. Online classes seemed to be good for first few days but after that it felt like a burden. There was a constant pressure on students from parents as well from teachers. Also children/students were exposed to domestic violence and criticism at home. As they were at home mostly and the family also faced difficulties like finance and business issues. Apart from this there was another issue of cyber bullying which spoiled or broke the students mentally. They were exposed to the evils of the internet. All these things harmed the thoughts of young minds and filled them with negative vibes.In many such cases students committed sucide as they thought that they would never come out of negativity.
Whatever that happened was too sad. We can't change our past but definitely we can learn from it. Controlling negativity is actually a skill. Sometimes what happens is that people misunderstand you and they spread unwanted rumors about you. For example me, unless and until you don't have a conversation with me you might feel I'm a non-friendly person but once we have a talk then you will realize how friendly I'm 😃. Sometimes I feel it's better to be lost in our own worlds so that no one can spoil our mood or make us feel low. Influence of positive things in our lives is very important. Don't get involved in toxic relationships. People will blame you for every single thing but you need to stay calm and focused. Don't let their words harm you. Never fall for fake judgements and assumptions. Start your day with the smile and also make sure your day ends with a smile only ☺...
